My mom and dad had a friend who named her dogs Poochie and Boom-Boom. They got out and this wasn’t the best part of town so my dad went to look for them…at 2am in a park. Yelling “Poochie! Boom-Boom!” The dogs eventually came back.

My dog is named Zapp, as in Zapp Brannigan. It’s fun to have a Futurama episode on and have him run in because people are saying his name.

We have a Shiba Inu named Kita. If you know the breed you’d know that they look like teddy bears when they’re little, so she got the nickname Kita Bear. We’re all lazy, and call her Bear. She likes to escape, and when she does we go out calling, “Bear! Bear~!” We’ve probably worried some of our neighbours quite a few times.
