These Are 19 of the Most Horrible Strangers People Had to Sit Next to

I was boarding a Southwest flight and was the very last person to get on the plane. I was forced to take a middle seat in the very front row next to an average looking man a few years younger than myself. Over the course of the flight, he kept spreading his legs wider and wider, at times even kicking me slightly. About half way through the flight, I was pissed, so I started kicking him back. By the end of the flight I was forced to kick this guy really hard a few times, but both of us were pretending this wasn’t happening. When the flight ends, an attendant brings in a wheelchair and starts helping the guy out of his seat. I realize, he is paralyzed from the waist down and can’t control his legs. I had been kicking a paralyzed man in the legs for over an hour.

I had boarded a flight to Atlanta. The flight was set to continue on to somewhere in Florida. A woman sat next to me (I had window, she had middle). I was watching a movie on my laptop. This was 2002 or so, and so the older woman was pretty amazed that I was watching a movie on a computer in a plane! She kept interrupting me to ask questions, when finally she says “Have you accepted the Lord and Jesus Christ as your savior? I’d hate to see you go to hell.” I looked at her and said “I like the heat. May I go back to my movie now?” She was so appalled she had no response, so I put my headphones back on and finished my movie. She didn’t talk to me again on that flight.

On a long flight the older guy sitting next to me would not stop staring at my breasts. After about an hour he got a sweater out of his bag and just put it across his lap, with a hand underneath. Really looked like he was touching himself.
