19 Unbelievable Stories People Kept To Themselves

I was heading home & this homeless guy ran up & asked if I could spare some money. I gave him a dollar. He asked if he could have another so he could afford to buy something to eat. I said sure & handed him another buck. At that moment he thanked me & asked if he could sing me a song. I said sure & he sang me a short song about the value of generosity. It was sweet & I wished him all the best. I kept walking down the empty side street & just then I walked by an alleyway & see a guy wearing a hoodie draped over his face leaning against the wall of the alleyway. I kept walking & nothing happened but I am convinced that had I not given that homeless guy money, I would have gotten mugged. I think the song the homeless guy sang to me was actually a signal to his alleyway partner to let me go.

In 2001, I lived on the top floor, right under the roof. I had a roof window I could look out of while lying in my bed. One night, I saw this really bright star and I thought to myself “Wow, that one’s really bright.” Then it moved. Fast. And stopped. Then it did it again. And again. I jumped out of bed and went to get my roommate. The living room was full of friends, so I told them to join. When I wanted to show them, the “star” or whatever it was, had disappeared. Nobody believed me.

Honestly, I’m not sure I believe it myself. I was abducted by a man when I was 12 or 13. Taken to the woods beside my school and he proceeded to masturbate and show me parts of his body that I didn’t really care for. I sometimes wonder if there’s more that I’m just not remembering or if that’s really all that happened. Either way it took me 20 years to tell anyone. And that was my wife of 10 years.
