These 19 Women Deal with Higher Sex Drives than Their SO’s

My libido is higher than my husbands. It wasn’t like this before we got married. Kinda seems like his sex drive slowed down in the last few years and mine went up like crazy. It has been f*cking hard to deal with it. I think if we hadn’t been married and own a house together I might have left him over it. It wasn’t just the lack of sex, there were other issues too.

When we first met, my libidio outpaced his significantly. I’d be up for rounds 2-5 and he rarely could go past one in an hour; I also initiated way more often than he would. About 6 months in I finally got back on birth control and it’s pretty much been equalized. It’s unfortunate actually because there’s a lot less passion in our initiations and I am having some sexual troubles thanks to the birth control I am on, but hey, no babies.

I’m pretty much always up for it unless my period is being crazy or I’m sad about something – even then I can still get pretty aroused. I used to think there was something wrong with me because of how often I would get excited, and it surprised me and hit pretty hard when my advances were not reciprocated. I try not to let it hit me when he isn’t in the mood, but I can’t help but attached that to not being desirable enough, which isn’t healthy.

My boyfriend’s libido is way lower than mine. It has definitely affected my self-esteem, I’m not nearly as confident as I used to be in the bedroom, and outside the bedroom as well. We’re expecting a child any day now and I just know our already sparse sex life is going to dwindle. My BF is 30, I’m 21, don’t know if that has anything to do with it. I am so in love with him and don’t think I could ever leave him over it, but it affects me a lot more than I ever thought it would.
