21 People Tragically Stumbled Upon A Dead Body

Rented a room in my apartment to one of my best friends. He had fallen on hard times & needed a place to crash . I went out of town for the weekend & was alarmed that I hadn’t been able to reach him. I sent someone to the door & they said he didn’t answer. Finally made it home, & had a sinking feeling as I turned my key in the door. I called out, but no answer. I went around the corner & found his body hunched over on the couch. He commit suicide by overdose; drugs & alcohol strewn all over the coffee table. I called for ambulance but i knew it was far too late. He’d probably been dead about 48hrs. His body was cold, and the blood had settled to his lower extremities causing what looked like bruising.

I found my twin brother hanging in our garage. Was a senior in hs, & our parents were away. We worked at the same place & that day he wasn’t feeling well & stayed home. Was gonna go pick him up on my lunch break to go look at puppies cause he was depressed but I ended up staying my whole shift. Drove home later, open the garage door, & first see a ladder which was odd. Then I saw feet dangling & my stomach sank. Ran out from the car to try to get him down. I had to run across the street to get my friend to hold him up while I cut him down. Laid him down & was scared to touch him. The firefighters came to try to resuscitate him. One officer comes in & asks if he can use a sheet. That’s when i knew for sure he didn’t make it.

Drove over a small bridge on a Sunday morning with some casual fisherman. One of the ladies was tired from fishing and lying on the side of the bridge, napping. When I drove home, they were placing her in a body bag.

When I and my brothers were kids, our family went to swimming hall there was an old man in sauna. As finns, we thought it was ok to be silent but after a while in sauna somebody noticed that the old man was passed away. We didn’t get any traumas, it was just an old man whose heart had failed in sauna. I’ve heard that it’s nicer way to pass away, enjoying the steams and die without much of suffering.
