When we’re young and adults tell us tall tales to scare us, we usually believe them. We all know what it’s like to stuff our faces at a cookout and then have adults tell us we have to wait 30 minutes before going into the pool.
While some of the little white lies we’ve been told as kids seem pretty believable, we learn later on in life that they are all pretty damn stupid–and, wonder how the f**k we spent so much time believing them. Thanks to Twitter, we can feel dumb as a collective group of gullible idiots, rather than alone. Thanks, Twitter!
