Yep, this one’s the most unavoidable of all.

At some point you will realize that this is it. Now that you have your own place, you’re as adult as an adult could be. And you still don’t know how to act like one.

Which is all well and good – except that next time something goes wrong, and you start looking around for the nearest grown up, it’ll be you. No one else will be there to swoop in and save the day. 

Not even your mom. (But you should still call her – she misses you).

The thing is, when you’re done panicking, you’ll see how freeing this can be.

Because the secret to life isn’t getting everything right – it’s fucking up no less than 12 things at any given time and still managing to function. So don’t be too hard on yourself.

Now go take off your pants and have a beer.
