When it comes to having huge boobs, the summertime is actually the absolute worst.
Any girl with a large chest will resonate with the fact that summer and big boobs just do not mix. Not only is it impossible to wear cute dresses (without our thick bra straps showing through everything), trying to find bathing suits is like mission impossible. Not to mention the underboob sweat that starts to show through our tank tops–it’s a hot mess. But, the most uncomfortable part about having big boobs in the summer has to be when we try and lay out and tan. Whether we’re at the beach, the pool, or just lounging at the park, trying to tan your back is a goddamn nightmare. Why don’t you try laying on your stomach when you have two 10 pounds of annoyance strapped to your chest?
It’s awful.
Luckily, one company has heard our cries and invented probably the greatest solution to tanning in the summer with big boob–a pool float that has a cut out for our big ol’ tots.
Lingerie company Bravissimo, which is targeted at women with bigger boobs, has made a pool float that comes with a cut-out section for women to rest their chest in. This way, women who do have larger chests can comfortably rest on their stomachs without feeling squished or pain.
On their website, the company wrote that the idea for the “Lilo” began as an April Fool’s joke when they posted about it on social media.
But, the company had so many positive responses, that they decided to actually create the product.
And roll in… your reaction was overwhelming! Hundreds of you got in touch to tell us that you really loved the idea and you wished it wasn’t a joke. You even had visions of bringing it to your next massage appointment, or using it as an airbed to get the best night’s sleep ever, as well as using it while rocking a bikini!
As we hope you know, our absolute favourite thing is when we can provide something that big-boobed women want and has never been available before… so as we watched your comments stack up in our inbox, it dawned on us that we really had to give this a go! Although we’re clearly not experts in lilos (!), we couldn’t miss the opportunity to kit you out with it in time for summer… so we dived head-first into developing an inflatable that would be the hol(e)y grail for Bravissimo girls.
The company even shared the process of making the Lilo float.
After sharing the photos of the finished product, women all over the world were in love with the idea and wanted one ASAP.
