Alright, the honeymoon phase is over in your new relationship and now it’s time to accept the fact that you promised yourself and your partner that you like each other enough for a full-time commitment. A relationship consists of trust, honesty, and most of all, compromise.

The compromise part usually comes into play when your significant other does something that irks you or disagrees with you. So, what do you do then? You talk it out, suck it up, and move on, having bettered your connection through the process. What if there is no compromise, though? What if you’re stuck with a partner that has a quirky habit that you can’t seem to ignore?

You either love them or leave them, at this point. But if they can deal with your weird habits, like counting your steps as the two of you walk up and down staircases, then you can probably forgive them for re-telling a story five times over. Plus, it’s kind of cute when they add different details in each retelling.

These 21 significant others have weird habits their partners have noticed:

1.

She stares at me. Like all the time. Sometimes I wake up to her staring at me. Sometimes I’m afraid she might murder me in my sleep.

2.

Chewing with his mouth open. I love him but it drives me f*cking crazy!

3.

She over analyzes every f*cking movie we watch. If the main characters turns left, she tries to figure out why he didn’t turn right. Also the constant questions. Watch the f*cking movie, ask questions later. I’ve been reduced to watching TV shows on Netflix with her.

4.

My SO has short term memory loss from a car accident. I listen to a lot of stories more than once…He gets frustrated at himself a lot but I find it endearing more than annoying.
