These 11 News Stories Are Too Weird to Believe

No two buts about it – sometimes, reality is way, wayyyy stranger than fiction. Just look at the election we just had.

…Come to think of it, just look at ALL of 2016. I think we can agree that this year took weird to a whole new level.

You could hardly open an Internet browser without chancing on some bizarre headline and wondering, did that really happen?

That, or it depressed the living sh*t out of you.

Or maybe it did both. Either way…

Let’s take a look at 11 of the weirdest news stories from the past year.

1. Edible Cups

Company Loliware has solved the Red Cup Problem plaguing frat houses nationwide: biodegradable (and edible!) cups!

Sure, few college students are willing (or able) to shell out $4 dollars per cup – but isn’t that a small price to pay to get out of morning clean up… not to mention keeping the planet that your generation will inherit quasi-livable?

The cups come in four flavors: Yuzu Citrus, Tart Cherry, Matcha Green Tea and Vanilla Bean. TBD which pairs best with whiskey coke.

2. Porn For The Blind

With over 285 million visually impaired humans on the planet, you’d think some of them would be into Internet porn if they had the ability to watch it. Thanks to PornHub, now they can get in on the fun the rest of the world’s been enjoying since the early 2000s.

With a new category on the website called “described video”, female narration will be added to preexisting videos.

Just remember to wear headphones.
