Twitter Is Emotional Over The Reason A Stranger Bought This 11-Year-Old’s Birthday Cake

In today’s flaming garbage pile of society, there are many people who go out of their way to pay it forward and spread kindness. Sometimes, doing a little something for someone else–even a stranger–can spread positivity further than you could have ever expected.
No matter the reason, we love people who go out of their way to spread kindness. Recently, one emotional and heartbreaking act of kindness has gone viral on Twitter–and, be sure you have some tissues ready.

Kyle Jauregui shared the story of how a stranger had paid for the cake his family had ordered at the store. The reason why? The stranger is a mother who had lost her own daughter, and every year on her daughter’s birthday, she purchases a stranger’s birthday cake in honor of her late daughter.

So today is my sisters birthday and when we went to pick up her cake someone had already paid for it. It was left with this card… my family was speechless and we just want to say thank you to McKenna’s mom and wish McKenna a Happy Birthday. There’s still good in this world.

As it turns out, the MISS Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps families who lose children at any age. They provide support, mentorship, and resources for these families, including the card seen in the photo–to use for a random act of kindness done in the child’s memory.

People on Twitter were incredibly moved by Kyle’s story and the foundation, especially by McKenna’s mother’s words and kindness.
