Netflix’s new teen romantic comedy To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before has taken the Netflix-binging world (so, everyone, right?) by storm—and for good reason. It is undeniably sweet without being saccharine, following the oft-treaded narrative tracks of any good teen romance with a wholesomeness so pure and enchanting, it would be offensive and a true disservice to label it as corny.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is remorselessly tropey, both in structure and character, and that’s a huge part of why it’s difficult not to adore. So go watch it immediately. And then laugh at these tweets. Because they won’t make sense otherwise.
