Women Are Praising Chrissy Teigen For Clapping Back At Mommy-Shamers On Instagram

When you’re a celebrity with kids, sometimes it’s hard to post anything on social media without fans and followers attacking you and your parenting methods.
Apparently, everyone in the world thinks they are the “world’s best mommy,” because they can’t help but shove their opinions in places no one asked for them. Like, for example, on social media posts and photos. Chrissy Teigen, model and TV host, is frequently candid and honest about being a mother of two on social media. Many who follower her know that no matter what, she will always keep it 100 when it comes to parenting. And, yet, there are those who still judge her and mom-shame her online–because they clearly have nothing better to do with their time.

This week, Teigen posted a picture holding her two kids–Luna and Miles–at the beach. In the photo, Miles is clearly crying and Luna is obviously not into it, but Teigen looks stunning. She posted the photo as a joke/a clap-back at all those judgy mothers, as indicated by the caption where she writes:

“Should I post the one where his head looks unsupported but my face looks good and Luna is over it, the one where his head is supported but my face is just okay and Luna is over it, or him crying and my face looks okay and luna is over it?”

Obviously, it’s a situation all mothers go through–trying to get that “perfect picture” with your kids, but your kids just being 115% not into it at all. It was also a pretty big “clap back” at all those people who shame moms for photos they post on social media where their babies head “may not be supported enough” or “the child is crying.”

One person even commented on the photo anyway–after Teigen wrote such a sarcastic and petty caption–saying that Miles “didn’t look happy with the sun in his eyes.” Of course, she already had a witty response up her sleeve.

Other moms on social media swarmed Teigen’s photo with endless gratitude and thanks for showing the realities of motherhood and giving a big “F you” to all of those women who try to shame mothers on the Internet.

We love us an honest Momma!
