Vitamin D, yo. It prevents colds and depression. Just remember to wear sunscreen, and limit your exposure.

8. Skipping A Shower

The day of your wedding; after a workout; on a first date – yea, take a f*cking shower! But as long as you use your judgement, skipping a day every now and again saves water – yay for keeping the earth habitable! If that’s not enough, it also keeps your skin from losing essential oils and disease-fighting bacteria. Showering too often strips your skin of all that good stuff, leaving you less good looking and vulnerable to disease. So next time someone around you is smelling kind of ripe, sidle up to them and say, “Mmm, your skin is so soft! What’s it been, a week?”

9. Drinking Alcohol

You’ve doubtless heard about the heart-health benefits of red wine, but beer and spirit drinkers have cause to celebrate, too!

Beer contains disease-fighting antioxidants, as well as a healthy amount of iron and dietary silicon, a mineral that aids in bone formation.

Meanwhile, ending your day with a cocktail prolongs your life by reducing inflammation and busting up the plaque in your arteries caused by high cholesterol.

Just remember, healthy consumption is defined as 1-2 drinks per day. This means getting wasted still isn’t good for you, but at least you can feel less guilty about those first few!
