These Are 19 of the Most Horrible Strangers People Had to Sit Next to

Packed train, I’m sitting at the window. A guy sits next to me and immediately is like right against me. I’m 18, have twenty minutes to sit here and am now currently trapped. He slips his hand between the gap between his outer thigh and mine and just flattens his hand against the seat. I was in a panic, I didn’t know what to do. The train is packed, he’s just staring at me and I’m looking out the window trying not to cry. I feel completely trapped, thinking of how I could get help or if I just screamed but I just sat there as he spread his fingers out under my ass. He eventually got off before me and I cried in my car.

Sat next to a dude on a plane. It was a 2 seater part of the plane so it was just us two in the aisle. Has that real grumpy Englishmen look on him. I nod at him when I sit down and I have the aisle, no words spoken which isn’t a big deal to me at all. Plane takes off successfully, I put my head back and close my eyes. Then I feel this aggressive poke/tap on my shoulder. It’s this guy giving me the most hungover look and has his headphones in his hands. Pipes up with this thick Geordie accent(Newcastle) and says “I want food so wake me when the food comes.” and then pops his headphones in and closes his eyes. Thankfully the plane was half empty so I peaced and got my own aisle. I have no idea if that mofo got his food. I slept 5 hours of the 7 hour flight and landed in Toronto well rested.

In South Korea I was at a small town bus terminal. This guy sits next to me & asks me if I’m Russian. In some of the small towns asking if you were Russia was code for asking if you were a hooker. I tell the guy no. He starts asking me where I’m going, saying he will buy a ticket to go to the same place. In the mean time, another Korean man wearing a suit has started watching us. I’m really uncomfortable & tell him no. The guy is not pleased & puts his hand pretty much on my crotch. I’m done. The bus is leaving in 2 minutes. I jump up the moment his hand touched my leg & booked it out of there & onto the bus, realizing as I got up that the guy jumps up to follow me but the angry Korean in the suit swoops in to rescue me.
