19 Unbelievable Stories People Kept To Themselves

I’ve been clinically dead twice in one day due to a drowning incident; I jumped off a bridge & then the water fucked with my lungs & I “drowned” again on the way to the hospital. That’s bad enough for people to believe, so I almost always leave out the part where I started having… weird dreams. At first I thought it was confirmation bias, but I would start noticing things around me that I saw in a dream a few nights ago. I started keeping a dream journal to show that it’s just vague details that could’ve been anything. Long story short; I now had word-for-word records of conversations, unforeseeable events like my father’s heart attack, & accurate descriptions of people I’ve never met yet, all written down ahead of time within the last week.

My sister and her husband were going through a tough time where it seemed that he would be leaving her (with 3 kids). My mom and dad got divorced and as all the assets were sold, I told my mom that she could come and stay with me in my flat. One evening after being out for drinks with friends, I come home and hear really strange noises from my mother’s room. I realise that she is having sex, so I leave it at that. About 25-30 minutes later my brother-in-law leaves my mom’s bedroom and leaves the house. I know he does not know that I was home already and I’m fairly sure my mom does not know that I was home during their exchange. I’ve not told anyone this.

When I was really young I may have been molested. I don’t tell anyone because a) It was someone my family knows b) I was so young that I can never confirm if he did anything or if he was just being really gross. Somethings I remember is that he always got my brother to go do something & he would always make me sit on his lap alone. He one time said he had candy in his pants. When I was about 6-7 years old I realized he was saying gross things & told on him. I don’t remember much after that but then he went to college or what ever so I didn’t see him till high school. Sometimes I wonder about these memories & think maybe I made it all up & just wanted him to be in trouble. I was so young & so little memory of it that I am never sure.
