If a friend is doing something that is bothering you, please just tell them. I can tell you’re annoyed, your body language isn’t hiding it like you think. And now I’m feeling like a jackass because I know I’m bothering you, but I can’t fix it if I don’t know what’s wrong, and you’re lying when I ask what’s up.

Interrupting a topic between a group to say something completely unrelated about themselves because they’re not sure how to engage in the conversation at hands topic. It kills the conversation so quickly, too.

Posture, posture, posture. How you hold yourself, and how you walk, directly affects how you feel, and how others see you. Take a little bit and work on standing tall with your back straight and walking confidently and powerfully. Move up and down as you walk, move your arms, don’t just be a stiff board. If you walk with your arms motionless at your side, stop, you look very insecure. That is a bad look. Follow my advice, and not only will you feel badass, others will feel it, too.

Being a too open about the misery in their lives to people they’ve just met. No-one wants to get cornered in a 2 hour conversation about your recent bereavement at a party. Sorry.
