Cut the tip of my finger off with the mandolin. I was cutting lemons at the time so bonus citrus juice in the wound I had to get it cauterized.

Sliced the tip of my ring finger off with a commercial slicer. I was slicing daikon for a sushi platter and I had set the slicer on automatic. One of the other cooks bumped into me, dropped the large radish in my hand and finger slipped into the blade at 45° angle. 14 stitches and one internal stitch

My first job was at a pizza place and someone put the door on the bottom shelf of a metal counter where pizza boxes usually were so when I went in there looking to grab a box I instead grabbed recently used pizza oven door.

This past Thanksgiving, cutting into some home-made french bread. The serrated knife slipped off the crust and sliced into my index finger. Luckily my dad was standing right next to me and I looked at the blood running down my finger and I said, “I’m going to faint.” I gracefully collapsed to the floor with my finger sticking up in the air like ET, my dad grabbed the first aid kit, and the day was saved.
