These 19 Teachers Had Very Inappropriate Interactions With Students

I taught high school for a while. It was a bit of a change for me because I had gone to public school. This was a private school. Private as in I taught 9 kids. That is it. That was the entire grade Anyway, there was one girl that I was attracted too. Very nice girl. But, you know, I am a normal human being so I didn’t try to sleep with the jailbait. Fast forward. It is summer time. We’re having a graduation party for the kids. I think three of the kids were graduating at that time. One of the younger ones (16) got my number and started texting me. Saying things like, “Come out and smoke. I know you do.” I was very sarcastic. I told her that it was bad that she was texting me and that when she turned 18 she has my permission to be friends with me, nothing more. Fast forward. Two years later. I am engaged. I am talkin on the phone with my soon to be wife. I hear a knock at my front door. I get a text on my phone same time. All it says is, “I’m 18.”

I once was tutored by a guy that was working on his Ph.D at Harvard but was doing some research at Stanford. He and I had gotten pretty close, and he started to tell me about his life and his work at both Harvard and Stanford. He was a really cool guy and passionate about what he was researching and clearly devoted to his family. Anyways, he told me that back at Harvard, he would often go to the school’s ice rink and watch this beautiful figure skater practicing while reading or working. He told me when she took one of his class, he couldn’t stop facing in her general direction. (I heard this story ~5 years ago) Apparently, he had also helped her with one of the questions she was struggling with on a midterm.

I suspected for a bit that my high school English teacher was into me. Asked for my phone number and e-mail so I could be her “plan b” dog sitter, even though her normal one was very responsible and punctual (a former student who I knew personally). She once said before spring break, “Don’t take your shirt off unless someone pays you.” She also let me get away with pretty much anything unless the administration was watching. That was a while ago, though, and in High School. I may have misread things.
