15 People That Suffer From Anorgasmia

Essentially I’ve never been able to have an orgasm with any of my partners. I’ve been masturbating for around 10 years and have never had any issues there. I do watch porn and recently weaned myself off of a lot of hardcore (forced sex, gangbang, etc) porn to watch things more reflective of the actual sex I’d like to have. I’ve always been very sex positive in terms of being open and very curious about sex but I can’t seem to translate that to my sex life.

For me, it wasn’t that I didn’t know how to get myself off, it was because it took me a long time (even by myself) so with partners, I would always feel nervous or self conscious that i was taking too long, so I just stopped trying. When I got in a longer term relationship and more comfortable with my partner, he encouraged me to try. At first we started with just masturbating in front of him with no expectation to finish. Once I felt comfortable enough to do that, we tried it before bed without having sex. he would just watch or help. Eventually as I became more comfortable and he would reassure me that he’s not bored just watching. One day it just happened and it got easier from there.

Once I got on antidepressants my sex drive went down exponentially and I haven’t had an orgasm since. Although it really REALLY sucks, being depressed is way worse. I’d rather never orgasm again then go back to being sad for no reason.
