I was caught by my dad when he came barging into my room to get a jacket because he used to put some of his clothes in my closet. My mom crammed all of her stuff in the one in their room so there was little room for my dad to keep his stuff. I was wearing headphones at the time, so I had no clue he was about to walk in. As soon as he did, he looked at me and said, “hands off the unit.” and walked out. We exchanged some weird looks at the dinner table the next day. Still don’t know why he called it a “unit”.
