17 Women Share Their Version of Self-Care

For me that usually means a long bath and some popcorn or a walk outside.

When my depression is really hitting heavy, I like to binge a favorite TV show or some movies. Watching something really familiar that I enjoy helps to keep me centered. When it gets really bad like that, I tend to feel less and less like myself and I’ve noticed watching those types of things kind of help bring me back to myself if that makes any sense.

Some things I really love are alone time, sushi, really long showers, face masks, shaving my legs, getting pedicures, snuggles with my cats, FaceTime with my long-distance friends if I’m feeling up for it, and going to bed really early.
