I was a lazy kid and one summer I didn’t go to summer school. To make sure i didn’t “waste” my summer, I had to copy every word in the dictionary that summer. Each word had to be written like 10 times and I had to do at least 2 pages, front and back, each day.

I’m Chinese. My parents used to tell me that if I kept running about after eating my intestines would tie into a knot and I’ll die.

So I get an 89% on a test. Parents take away PC because I’m a “failure”. Then I tell them I need it to do an assignment. Can’t do assignment, gets 0. Gets yelled at for being a failure again.

My brother tried to come out as gay to my mom and she pretended not to hear it. Then, she texted me asking if he was and I said I wouldn’t be the middle man and she should ask her soon. She was offended and told me that my dad thought it was a “disease and we’re trying to pray it away.” Needless to say, my poor brother still can’t talk to my parents about this.
