This was on the ballot in Georgia in 2010. “Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to make Georgia more economically competitive by authorizing legislation to uphold reasonable competitive agreements?” Sounds great right? it’s actually is for enforcing non-compete agreements in employment contracts. Conveniently almost no coverage of the law was done until a day or two before the election so most people had no clue what it was for, and it passed easily. My beef isn’t with the actual law but how it was basically written by a lobbyist

Obscenely bright headlights. Had this truck behind me at night one time. Luckily had his low beams on. Looked like the birth of a star behind me. I didn’t even need my headlights on because his were shining a good 50 or so feet in front of my car and I was in front of him.
