This was on the ballot in Georgia in 2010. “Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to make Georgia more economically competitive by authorizing legislation to uphold reasonable competitive agreements?” Sounds great right? it’s actually is for enforcing non-compete agreements in employment contracts. Conveniently almost no coverage of the law was done until a day or two before the election so most people had no clue what it was for, and it passed easily.
