21 Celebrities That Are Actually Nice in Real Life

I ran into John Goodman in a sporting goods store when I was a kid. Like I literally ran into him and bounced off as he was rounding a corner and I hadn’t seen him. He just laughed and gave my hair a little bit of a tussle. I didn’t actually know who he was though. Then that night, an episode of Roseanne was on and I recognized him as the guy from the store. I was like, “Wow! I met someone from TV!”

I met Conor McGregor once at 4 in the morning In Galway Ireland. I went back to a bar where I thought I lost my phone & he was outside with his friends and security. I said hey and chilled with him for 5 minutes. He was so nice and asked me loads of questions and complimented my cheap Blazer. He’s so different in person! This was months before His big fight with Aldo.

My girlfriend & I went to a taping of The Voice where all the judges sang “Dream On.” This was not done in one take, but several. In between takes, the judges would kind of do their thing. It was painfully clear that Adam Levine & Blake Shelton couldn’t give two shits about the audience. Alicia Keys seemed to want to connect with the audience but seemed confused as to how. Miley Cyrus was the only one who actually seemed incredibly down to earth. She made small talk, she joked around, she really made it seem like she cared & was having just as much fun as the audience. It may sound minor, but it really felt like she made a connection & wasn’t acting like she was better than everyone (in contrast to Adam & Blake).

Zach Galifianakis came to eat at the restaurant where I work. I had no idea it was him, he lost so much weight you can barely even recognize him! He was there with his wife & child. He ran in, & I was standing at the door, & said his son was having a water emergency. I rushed over & poured water in the boy’s cup & had to help him drink it. Then I poured more water, & Zach handed me a 20. Then I walk back & the hostesses are having a panic attack. “You know that’s Zach Galifiniakis right!!!” He was super pleasant & just seemed to enjoy normal treatment. His waiter showed me the receipt, on which he wrote, “give the water girl an extra thanks.”
