21 Celebrities That Are Actually Nice in Real Life

Met Bradley Cooper. It was around 2010 while I was deployed. I didn’t have anyone to take the picture, so he grabbed my camera and did a selfie. Nice dude, very cool.

When I was 10 I met Stan Lee at a comic book convention. Being a little derp, I had him sign an Avengers comic from 1966 and a drawing I made of a character I created (I don’t remember much about this other than it looked exactly as a 10 year old would draw it). He saw the picture, laughed, looked at me, smiled, and said “Wow. People might think I did this!” in the most genuine, genial, Stan Lee manner imaginable. I wanted to write comics at the time, and I saw this moment as a passing of the torch moment. He could have dismissed my idiotic drawing, but he didn’t, and that always meant a lot to me, even when I beat myself up for being a dumb kid who met the master himself and had him sign a stupid “let’s put this on the fridge” drawing.

Was in NYC for the first time with my mom and grandma. Stopped in front of a Starbucks and was looking for someone to take a pic of us. Saw a dude get out of the Starbucks and asked him without really thinking much. The dude says yes of course and is really nice about it. Only realized he was Matthew McConaughey when i asked for my phone back and thanked him. Apparently he thought it was really funny that we didn’t recognize him and just asked him to take a picture of us. Chill dude and very down-to-earth.

I sat next to Tony Hawk on a Southwest flight from LA to Sacramento. Said he was going to do some work on a new video game, this was around 2008 so I don’t know which one. Didn’t talk a whole lot but cracked some jokes about the sky mall magazine and seemed to be really cool and down to earth.

Interacted with Paul Wall and his wife and kids in a gas station outside Houston. He was very respectful and well spoken. Kids were adorable and his wife is thick and sexy. He seemed very humble and very attentive to his kids, definitely made an impression on me. They took off in his candy red Caddy rockin the white walls.
