As a socially awkward person that often feigns social fluency I would say the most important thing is to realize that no one is analyzing you as much as you think so act more casual.

Telling the same joke twice. Even if it seems like no one heard the joke the first time, it’s still not funny the second time.

Ending a conversation by just awkwardly walking away. Just learned I did this a few years back. Instead say “it was good to see you”, “thanks for your help”, “say hi to so and so for me”, etc. It will end the conversation nicely, especially if you need to leave the conversation early. It compliments the other tips here.

Speaking about themselves or their achievements in a degrading tone (I do this sometimes).
