For some reason, marriage isn’t as big a deal as it used to be. I choose to blame people like Britney Spears, and other celebs that had shotgun Vegas weddings that ended quickly in divorce.
They got married too soon, and likely weren’t sure they were making the right choice. Unfortunately, that doesn’t only happen to celebrities. Normal people are plagued with this as well.
But marrying someone quickly isn’t always a drunken decision – other factors come into play. Things such as children and mental illness make people feel they need to get married, even when they have serious doubts.
