A lot of people have things they’re addicted to. There are the normal things like food and sleep, and there are the life-ruining things like drugs and alcohol. As long as the addiction doesn’t ruin your life, it’s all good, right?
But people can also get addicted to super bizarre things, like things you wouldn’t imagine in your wildest dreams. Things like licking lamps and eating their toenails. Yup, those are real things.

I grow my toenails out, much longer than any non-homeless person. Once they get too long (which doesn’t really happen), crack or I just can’t take it anymore, I cut them off so I can suck on them. I eventually end up chewing them and having to throw them away though. I currently have two clipped ones in a drawer next to my bed and four really long toenails on my left foot.

MILK. I drink a half a gallon a day. Can’t get enough of the stuff.

Plucking out ingrown hairs. especially ingrown armpit hairs, with a tweezer. I get great satisfaction in ripping the skin on top, and digging for the hair. when the hair finally exposes itself, the feeling, in addition to watching, the hair being pulled out is ..hypnotic. Finally, when you pull the ingrown hair out, and you also manage to get that bulbous-y root out..it’s so satisfying. I like to roll the jelly bulbous thing around, in between my thumb and index finger too. It got to a point where where my armpit got so sore, I had to stop. Now I watch youtube videos online to satisfy that desire.
