21 People Tragically Stumbled Upon A Dead Body

I was about 13 or so, riding my bike with my friends in the DUMBO area of brooklyn. We rode around near where the cool places are now. Back then it was mostly overgrown and abandoned, and I really needed to take a piss so I went to an area that had a lot of trash, and when I walked up I saw some legs off to the side of the pile. Totally freaked me out, so my friends and I rode back towards Old fulton where we had a restaurant waiter call the cops. They ultimately found 2 bodies there, one male that I discovered and another female a few yards away. According to one of the cops he thought the guy was shot first and the woman ran, since he was shot in the face and the woman was shot several times in the back.

While in South Africa we were touring a few townships my brother had just finished serving in for a church mission. Townships are essentially dirt roads with garbage everywhere, houses lining the streets with 10 ft high walls with barbed wire. We are walking along the street past a pile of garbage when I noticed a baby wrapped in a blanket pushed down into the garbage. I will never forget the little face with closed eyes.

My fiancĂ© died from a heart defect a little over a month ago. He died in his sleep. I didn’t stay at his place that night so I came by the next morning and went to kiss him. He was so cold. I knew right away.

When I was little my parents bought an above ground pool. Some woman decided to shoot up then jump the fence around our backyard and go skinny dipping. My brothers and I found her the next morning when we went to go swimming.

One night I left my condo for the convenience store across the street. There are benches for buses right outside my building, and on one of them I saw a man laying down. But he wasn’t laying, it was more like he fell on it, or laid down on it really awkwardly. My first thought, as usually is when seeing something like that, was that it was a bum who had drank too much or something(this guy wasn’t exactly well dressed). So I walked by and went to the store. On the way back, I saw him again and passed him once before the eerie thought just took over my mind. I tried shaking him and he didn’t budge. And after taking his pulse I knew. I called the cops and they said he was dead before even I found him. The weird thing is, there were dozens of other people that walked passed him and didn’t do anything either.
