Oh, to be a millennial in the dating scene. Don't get me wrong, douchey guys have always existed, but in the last decade or so, technology has allotted for an entirely new level of a**hole: the f*ckboy.
With dating apps like Tinder, people think that they can hide behind their digital veil of backhanded compliments and senses of entitlement. I mean, if one more dude tells me to “Send nudes,” I'm going to lose it. #boybye
F*ckboys are not always easy to spot, so beware. You might know when you've encountered a f*ckboy if he 1) only texts you after 1 a.m. (usually accompanied by a d*ckpick), 2) doesn't want to be seen in public with you, and 3) will disappear for weeks at a time, but somehow always manages to pop up in your DMs with a smarmy wink when you finally think you've moved on.
