23 Bisexuals Confess The Biggest Differences Between Dating People Of Each Sex

My boyfriend is surprisingly similar to my first girlfriend. We have similar conversations about science, similar competitiveness when playing games, similar silly in-jokes etc. Even sex is similar in terms of how close and intimate it feels. He’s generally less moody and kinder, but there are a lot of moments where he really reminds me of her. Biggest difference is probably my mother’s reaction. Start dating a woman a few years older than me? “Why is she interested in you? She’s too old. She looks like a man.” A year later, dating a guy almost exactly the same age, my mother is thrilled and thinks he’s the best thing in the world.

I am a woman and I’m currently with a woman. When your cycles don’t sync up- you either only f-ck 2 weeks out of every month or improvise. It’s so much simpler when there’s only one period to worry about!

In my experience, women were more jealous and insecure about my attraction to men than men were about my attraction to women. I think it’s partially that there’s a stereotype of the “college lesbian” or the girl who thinks she likes girls but ultimately just wants attention. Surprisingly though, women were more likely to be chill so long as I was talking to another girl. So if we were at a party and I talked to three guys and three girls, my girlfriend wouldn’t be concerned about any of the girls flirting with me but would be concerned about the men. Also the men were the only ones who ever tried for threesomes, so there’s that.

I find that I don’t have to impress a guy as much I do for a woman in order to win her over and that guys are more straightforward/easy to read in deciding what to do on a date/hookup. Overall, I’ve actually found men easier to be with which is odd because I’m more attracted to women.
