This is totally going to sound like the nerdiest thing ever…but I met him in high school during a summer SAT/ACT practice class. I was with somebody else at the time, but I fell instantly in love. I ended up breaking up with ex and dating him instead. I asked him to prom during an AIM instant message chat. One of our first dates took place at an anime convention. Typing this out makes it sound like some sort of bad geek romantic comedy movie.

He was my friend’s downstairs neighbor, and he lived only two blocks away from me. We were “friends” until about 4 months into our friendship, when he drunkenly confessed his love for me several different times in a couple of days. A relationship blossomed, and fast-forward 2 years, we have a cat, dog, and a baby on the way.

We met at a nightclub that used to be an adult theater. We keep it classy lol! On the 25th we will be together 7 years total, married for 3.

On OkCupid. We are both introverts, so online dating was the last hope for each of us… But it worked out pretty perfectly. Boy am I thankful for the night of insomnia that led to my signing up for OKC and the “profile completion” percentage that forced me to actually send messages to people.
