The girl I had a crush on was a member of marching band so I joined so we’d have something in common. They had me learn the bagpipes. The F*CKING BAGPIPES. Just when I learned enough to be able to keep up with the band, one of the teachers who coordinated the whole thing suddenly died. So they cancelled the concert I had been preparing for to go to this guys funeral. I hadn’t even been a member for a month at this point. It was like super awkward everyone was bawling & giving me words of comfort & I was standing there like ‘wtf I never spoke to this man’. On the plus side the girl I liked hugged me (but she was pretty distraught i’m pretty sure she would have hugged anyone). And that was pretty much the extent of my high school love life.

I was 19 and I threw a party of 300+ people at my parents house for her. She just broke up with her boyfriend and wanted to party so I obliged. I paid for the entire house to be cleaned the next day and it was perfect.. that is until not even 5 mins after being home my mom finds a beer hidden behind the knife block… worth.
