23 Men Confess The Craziest Things They Did For A Girl

I really wanted to date a girl who was well out of my league, but I was in a rock band so tried to punch above my weight. She agreed to go on a date. During the night out she mentioned she lived on a farm and walked everywhere, and her rural area was great for cross country running. I didn’t really heed these details. At the end of the date at about 11pm, I stuck my neck out and offered to walk her home. She said it was a long way, but trying to be gentlemanly I said it was fine. Turned out to be about a 6/7mile walk. I said goodnight, no kiss, and then had to walk home. I then realised I had absolutely no idea where I was, and got hopelessly lost. Eventually got home just as the sun was rising at about 4am. Guessing I walked about 15-17miles in all. Never went out with her again either.

I became a youth pastor. When I was in high school I was in love with this very christian girl who only dated very christian guys. So I started getting involved in church and being that I naturally like to be in charge I started volunteering. When I went to college I started leading youth group twice a month and was told that I was now a “youth pastor.” I ended up separating with the church a few years later for personal reasons and moved away to go to college in a new town. The girl ended up marrying a regular guy that’s really good to them and their kids and I’ve since had a string of enjoyable bachelor adventures.

I was obese when I was a sophomore. There was a girl I was friends with and had a huge crush on, but my self-esteem was so low that I could never work up the courage to ask her out. So I started exercising one night when I was feeling particularly bad about myself and…I just kept doing it…every night, by the time my senior year rolled around I was in really good shape. I asked the girl to several dances and she said yes and we had a good time but it was never anything more than that. Looking back, she was completely wrong for me…but I was still crazy about her.
