These 23 People Wish They Could Forget These Embarrassing Puberty Moments

I got my period very young, 9 years old….I was visiting my family in Puerto Rico and it happened. I didn’t know what to do so I hid the messy clothes because I was super scared and not really sure what was happening. I took a shower and headed into the kitchen looking for my mom. While in the shower, my mom had discovered the messy pajamas and had proceeded to tell my Abuelita (grandma) that my period started. I was greeted by a big hug and kisses, phone calls from other family members and a huge block party my honor that evening, about 100 people showed up..so many people they closed a street down… I will never forget all my family and random strangers telling me how wonderful my period is. It is not wonderful, I promise.

I was crammed in a little tiny motel room with my mom and brother for a few weeks and the urge kicked in. I was whacking off layed down on the floor with my legs completely spread and my pants wrapped around my ankles. My mother was in the bathroom for a few seconds and I thought I would get enough time to drain my urges. She walked back in, looked directly at me, I shook around a bit, and then just sat there still trying to blend in with my surroundings. She went back in the bathroom and we never talked about it.

When I was 12 my dad gave me “the talk.” He asked if I knew where my testicles were…I pointed to my neck. He still likes to joke about it to this day.
