My cat will randomly attack her back legs… She’ll be grooming herself, then her leg will get in the way and accidentally boop her nose or something, so she’ll bite it, then get confused that her paw hurts and start kicking out at whatever hurt her (her face) and it turns into a bitey, scratchy cycle until she gives up and looks sad.

Well Chickens are not bright. I have a giant roo named Roger. He was trying to visit his lady friend who was inside the coop, he was outside the coop. The coop has little glass windows at about chicken-eye level. Roger was frantically pecking the window and throwing himself at it in order to gain entry, right next to the open door. So to help out, I grabbed him and placed him directly in front of the open door, to which he let out an exasperated complaint and ran back to the window … pecking and flailing with all his chicken might. We repeated this about 5 times until the girl chicken eventually left the coop.

Found my dog licking an unconscious baby rattlesnake in my backyard… stopped her, put the snake in a jar, then marveled at my dogs complete lack of animal instincts.
