I played WoW instead of having friends. I can remember cutting off contact completely from my best friend at the time because he kept wanting to hang out while I played a video game with people I thought were my friends. This started in my sophomore year and it took to the beginning of senior year to realize I was ruining my life.

Not meeting more people, I didn’t really like my gf so much or the people I knew so I just kept pulling away and being miserable with life. I think I would have been happier if I meet more like minded friends.

Attempting suicide and dragging my parents through hell and back trying to get me help.

Trying so hard to be popular at the beginning of high school. I just wanted to be liked so badly that I left many sincere and loyal friends for people that didn’t really care much about me. Luckily I learned that lesson in High School and nourished some true friendships with people I’m still close with to this day.
