29 “I’m Getting Old” Moments

5.

My wife is pregnant with our first child and I realize when he is a teenager he will probably think of me as the next boring old f*ck telling him what to do, and even though I’ll probably think I’m still pretty cool, I’ll probably just don’t get it.

6.

When you run across a group of kids and the cool kid of the group says or does something completely random and stupid to get a reaction from you, and all his little buddies start laughing hysterically, I just want to shake him and tell him he’s not as clever and funny as he thinks he is. Then I remember that we used to do the exact. Same. Sh*t. All the f*cking time. So I guess the point I realized I was getting old, is when I realized that I was a sh*thead when I was younger.

7.

When you notice a change in the questions people ask. They stop asking if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, rather they ask if you are married.

8.

Being trusted at work. When they give you responsibilities that affect the company, you’re not showing signs of recklessness, irrational thought, etc. That made me feel not like a kid anymore.
