15 Haunted Places We Dare You to Roadtrip to This Fall

13. Moon River Brewery

Savannah, Georgia

This place was built as a hotel during the Civil War. Many men were murdered there, so obviously it’s a logical spot to open a bar. Patrons today say they’ve seen bottles soar through the air and have witnessed guests being pushed, touched and even slapped by unseen forces.

If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll get into a good old fashioned, supernatural bar fight of your own.

Then again, drunk people are known to stumble, so those spirits might be, you know, the alcoholic kind.

14. The Sultan’s Palace

New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is full of ghost stories, but this one takes the cake.

Basically, it goes like this. A Sultan moves into a mansion with his harem. They have wild, raucous parties every night that none of the locals are invited to. Then, the morning after one of the parties, passersby notice epic amounts of blood leaking out under the front door.

The police go inside to find dozens of mangled bodies – it’s a gruesome, bloody massacre. And then they discover the sultan himself, buried alive in the garden with his hand outstretched.

So yea, this place still has a creepy vibe. To say the least. People have even reported unusual noises, loud music and strong incense wafting from the home.

15. Kansas State University

From a dead football player in the theatre, to angry frat boy ghosts, to a hospital that was converted into campus housing, there are plenty of spooky things to experience at KSU. You can even get a college degree while you’re there!

Talk about spooky.
