The first time I saw roadkill up close. I don’t want to get too specific, but the skin moving because of the maggots beneath was horrible.

I grew up in north philly and saw a drug dealer who got shot by a police officer in the gut. The drug dealer pulled a gun and the cop shot him. the guy shot back, droped his gun, and ran down the alley way. He passed our house and tried to make it to the bus station but passed out. We were outside and he was just drenched in blood holding his belly.

When I was 9 I was walking to the local hospital gift shop to buy some candy and a guy shoved passed me as I was walking in. He was holding what looked to be a ham bone wrapped in a shirt. Someone ran out and grabbed him and he pulled away releasing a lot of blood onto the ground and that’s when I noticed he was missing a hand. My uncle who is a cop in that area told me the guy tried to break into a house but the owner was home so when he stuck his hand in the door to unbolt the door the owner hit it with a fire ax.

I was once at the Marriott World Center in Florida for a soccer tournament and a woman fell off a balcony onto the glass windows above the lobby. Saw everything. Was horrified.
