Sure, sometimes us ladies make the first move and ask people out. But other times, we just want someone else to do it. It's just flattering to have someone make the first move. Sorry if that sounds traditional, but IDGAF imma do me.
And so in those moments where we want someone to do the asking out, or we're just too shy to come right out and say it, we drop subtle (and not so subtle) hints. We drop handkerchiefs and bend and snap all over the damn place. Or we're just like “I REALLY LIKE BEER TOO.”

But let's be clear, JUST BECAUSE A GIRL IS NICE TO YOU DOESN'T MEAN SHE WANTS TO DATE YOU. Seriously, that is rule #1. All you ladies out there know what I'm talking about. Being nice isn't a sign that someone wants you. Sometimes people are just nice. So don't get butt hurt if you think you read the signs wrong and she's not into it. It happens all the time, so just move on.
