They expected me to wash dishes in break room. I was hired to be a receptionist not a maid.

I was working at a McDonald’s, and me and another employee were in the back washing dishes. I had put my phone on to listen to it, and the other employee got really angry bc he didn’t like my music. He starts shoving me and throws my phone into the basin filled with water. I told the manager about this, and he refused to separate us, as we both had to do the dishes. I told him if he doesn’t separate us, I’m walking out. He thought I was bluffing, and told me we had to stay in the back. I grabbed my soaking phone, my bag, and walked out.

We had an idiot hostess who got promoted to manager. One of her first shifts as a manager, a called in. So we only had a strong server, the server I had trained the week before and me waiting tables. Of course we start getting busy. Then she send the strongest server home for unknown reasons, and my already too large section becomes virtually the whole restaurant minus the 10 tables new girl can barely hold down. This dumb broad didn’t help the whole night and yelled at me for spilling a coke while I was trying to take care of the whole restaurant. She comes back 5 minutes with a write up form for insubordination. I tore it up in front of her, told her to f*ck herself with a cactus, and left.
