Alexis Ohanian, husband to the best tennis player that has ever lived, has proven to be worthy of underrated style icon Serena Williams’ presence.
The Reddit cofounder posted a selfie of the couple to Instagram on Sunday. In it, Ohanian stares lovingly at his wife as she downs a glass of red wine (has anybody ever smiled appreciatively at you while you slurped Cabernet?) in a chunky-knit baby-pink sweater (swag.) The geotagged location appears as “Venezia, Italia” and Ohanian’s caption reads, “She wanted Italian for dinner, so…”
Whereas my boyfriend only begrudgingly takes me to Olive Garden (where breadsticks and salad are never really infinite no matter what anyone tells you), the multimillionaire straight up jetted his lady to Italy for some spinach and mushroom tortellini. (I don’t know if that’s what Serena actually ate, I’m just really focused on setting the scene here.)
Ohanian posted several other photos of the couples’ whirlwind trip. “Last night was a blur,” he captured a photo of Serena strolling the moonlit street.
Everyone on Instagram damn near lost their minds at Ohanian’s romantic gesture.
