My crazy stepmom threatened to tell my boss about the mental health problems I had as a kid. She thought this would somehow make me more willing to kiss her ass? I laughed in her face and told her she’d go to prison for HIPAA violations (just a bluff and not actually true) and she hasn’t tried to mess with me since. For some backstory, she was super abusive when I was a kid (causing severe depression), and she was a textbook version of a narcissist. I was working in a hospital at the time of the attempted blackmail, which made it easier to trick her into thinking I could actually get her in trouble.

Had an ex I worked with flip her shit on me after work one day because I ignored her and told her to fuck off (she cheated on me) when we were alone and she wouldn’t stop bugging me. She said “you don’t ever fucking talk to me like that, I will tell our boss tomorrow you raped me and sexually assault me every day.” I was so worried, until I got her to say the same thing to me the next day and recorded it and played it back to her during her tantrum. She avoided me after, but I quit that job after 3 months anyway, it was a horrible job.

In school, about 14, I broke up with my girlfriend and she threatened to show everyone the dick pics I had sent her. I told her that’s fine with me and nobody really gave a fuck, got a few giggles off the girls no big deal. Then I showed everyone the sex messages she sent me. Because she felt totally embarrassed by it and let it get to her, she ended up way worse off than me. Was good.

Ex wife stole my credit card and booked a wedding. When I found out I demanded my money back. She refused and then ran to the police and put in a report that I beat her and my daughter up. I was scared shitless and ended up marrying her in order for the charges to get dropped. I am now happily divorced I just miss seeing my daughter like I use to.
