Periods aren’t all bad. HA! Who am I kidding — yes they are. But as women, we can collectively weep, laugh, scream, bleed, and eat our weight in Totino’s Pizza Rolls to feel better about having them.
We jump for joy because we’re not pregnant, and then we jump into bed and stay there for three to seven days with a heating pad and the entire series of Felicity to keep us company.
Periods are an inevitable part of life for most women, so we should definitely have the right to bitch, joke, and talk about them whenever we please. If I have to put up with 35+ years of bleeding from my gahddamn uterus every month, you will sit quietly and listen to me moan for five seconds.
It’s not all bad, though. Aside from the raging mood swings and abhorrent costs of feminine hygiene products, we get to swing our hips and play with our awesome boobs!
