I track my wife’s ovulation cycle. The female libido is highest when they ovulate. It lasts for about 3-5 days. In other days I turn up the compassion, love, consideration and empathy which keeps it going. Basically, don’t fuck it up!

My girlfriend and I used to go at it nightly. As time went on, I started to lose my sex drive and it went to every other night, then once a week, then once every couple weeks. We had an honest discussion about it and she was so supportive and mature about the situation. I encouraged her to please herself whenever she had the urge and we bought toys to experiment with. We’ve been together over two years and plan to get married soon.

I’m gay and well, to be frank, gay sex takes some ‘prep’ time, for full on penetrative sex. Well I have a far far higher libido than my partner, and so a lot of the time I feel like I’m playing a guessing game. I’ll get all ready and everything, try to initiate, then feel rejected. Then I both feel rejected and also feel a bit annoyed at the wasted time, then just jerk off in the bathroom after he’s gone to sleep. Being the one always initiating is the worst for me, rejection feels horrible.
