My girlfriend of six months and I went to see the premier of “The Hobbit”. The theater was packed by the time we got there and the movie had just started. In a frenzy to find two available seats we ended up parking it right next to another couple. Shortly after the movie started I realized I was sitting next to my ex(who I dated for almost two years) and her new boyfriend. There were no other available seats. Most awkward three hours of my life!

I was working the front register during my winter break job and my ex and his friends walk in. From the corner of my eye I see him staring at me. 5 minutes pass and he is still standing there and staring me down. Finally, he just runs out the store while his friends finish shopping. 1 minute later I get a text that says, “I saw you working and you took my breath away.”

On a date with new girlfriend for Halloween. Dressed up in mascot pedobear costume so I’m incognito. Hear a voice behind me. It’s my ex and her bf and her friends whom I hate (she cheated on me). Ask to take a picture with me. Oblige. Don’t take off mask for the whole night for fear of getting recognized.

This had been several years since I had even seen or heard from my ex-boyfriend. He came in with his girlfriend as a “resident” of a homeless shelter I volunteered at.

Saw him two years later at a rave. Danced with him, and drunkenly tried to make out with him. He was sober, and he told me no because I was drunk. He took me back to my friends.
