People Share Why They Quit a Job on The Spot

I was working at McDonalds and one of my managers just got back from a week long Christian retreat. I was supposed to be leaving soon and asked when I could go; He said I had to stay after work for the after party so he could see me dance on a stripper pole. He was not kidding. I quit immediately.

I quit a seasonal job at a fireworks store when I was 20. It was the summer between sophomore and junior year of college and I just wanted to make a few bucks before going back to school. The actual job was okay but the manager/owner is still one of the most unpleasant people I’ve ever dealt with in my life. It was my second day and he just lost it at this poor teenage girl over not knowing the price of something (on her first day, in her first few hours). I decided that having to walk on egg shells at all times wasn’t worth minimum wage and just walked out the front door.

I was 18 working at a sub sandwich shop. The other 18 year old closer was a girl I hadn’t seen since we briefly dated in grade 7. After beating around the bush and sexual tension for a couple weeks, we started bumping uglies. I guess the manager could tell, because he told me I was not allowed to date other employees. I was flabbergasted. Of course I told her, she agreed with me it was ridiculous. We decided to close early, f*cked twice in the manager’s office, then neither of us ever went back.

Refused to have sex in the walk in cooler with my perverted assistant manager. He did everything he could to screw every female worker that worked there. Not me. I walked out before I cut his d*ck off with the knife I had in my hand at the time.
