25 Extremely Basic Concepts Most People Don’t Understand

13.

The true meaning of “the customer is always right.”

14.

Evolution. Animals aren't just like “Hey you know what would be cool? If we had this feature. Let's grow that shit next generation.” It's survival of the fittest by chance mutations, not become the fittest so you can survive.

15.

Their own bias. People seriously feel they're objective, all the time, about everything. And when they start to feel like they're wrong, they won't admit it. You'll see them adopt rhetoric they don't agree with just to protect an image of perfection they're not even really projecting. We're all so caught up in others' perception, and being “right”, that no one's willing to take an honest look at their shortcomings and admit the limitations of their perspective. It makes you too vulnerable; you can't afford real introspection and sincerity when trying to win an argument.

16.

General politeness. Just treat people how you want to be treated buddy and we'll all get along swimmingly.
